Our Story

2024 brought some BIG events and life changes for us.  We became empty nesters, celebrated 30 years of marriage, and sold both of our businesses! Whew! Our day to day lives look completely different than they did a year ago!!

Jason has been interested in laser engraving for quite some time, but up until we sold our businesses, he was far too busy to pursue it.  I have always had a passion for personalized and custom shirts, but again, never had a way to create them myself while running two businesses.

Once we sold our businesses (that we had owned & operated for over 20 years) and found ourselves with more time for creative thinking, we made the exciting decision to pursue these long time interests of ours and turn them into a business venture!

Now back to the name….2025 marks the beginning of a new chapter in our lives.  As I mentioned, our daily lives look completely different (in a GOOD way!) than they did a year ago.  Since 2024 marked such a significant milestone for us in our marriage (30 years), we thought it was fitting to think of 2025 as “Chapter 31″….. thus the name “Chapter 31 Designs.”

We are so excited for what this new chapter holds for us as we explore these new passions and continue to learn and create meaningful gifts, decor, keepsakes, and more! Thank you for being part of our journey here at Chapter 31 Designs.
